About

The Log of the Work Becomes the Claim.

Logbook exists because R&D claims are written twice: once as code, and once more for an adviser who keeps a share.

Every software team already writes down what was hard. It’s in the ticket that says "spike: can we do this without a central lock?", and the commit that says "revert, approach B fails under load". That is the story HMRC and RVO want to read.

Advisers rebuild that story every year from interviews and spreadsheets, and take 10 to 15% of the relief for it. We think the claim should come from the record you kept at the time, for a fee that doesn’t grow with your success.

We’re setting up our first 10 firms by hand, in the UK and the Netherlands. If that’s you, you’ll be talking to Tim.
